Bala Bhat, M.D., received M.B.B.S. (equivalent to MD) from Karnataka University, India and graduated medical residency from San Joaquin General Hospital, Stockton. Dr. Bhat is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Physician Specialties, and has a Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine. Dr. Bhat has been practicing on the Central Coast for over 20 years.
Franco J. Castrejón, OD, FAAO, received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Western University of Health Sciences. Rotated through the Naval Medical Center San Diego, Marine Corps Recruit San Diego, Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, and the Naval Air Station North Island. Dr. Castrejon is Ortho-K certified and has been practicing in the field of Optometry on the Central Coast for over 10 years. Dr. Castrejon is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Castrejon was awarded the `A Tribute to Caring` award for exemplary community service. In his free time he enjoys playing hockey, hiking, going to the beach, and most importantly spending time with his family.
Originally from the central coast, I have always had a passion for caring for children. I value working with the under-served and providing services that might not otherwise be available to them. I strive to offer compassionate care and will always look out for the health and well being of my patients. Also proficient in Spanish with moderate language skills in Arabic.
