Medi-Cal covers vital health care services. As COVID-19 becomes less of a threat, California has restarted yearly Medi-Cal eligibility reviews using available information to decide if you or your family member(s) still qualify for coverage. It is important for you to update your contact information so Medi-Cal can reach you when it’s time to renew.

Once a year, Medi-Cal sends out a ‘Redetermination package’ for you to complete. This will tell Medi-Cal if you still qualify. On April 1, 2023, the state restarted Redeterminations again so you may need to respond to keep your family covered.
