CHC’s Behavioral Health department represented Community Health Centers of the Central Coast during the Bridges to Resilience Conference on June 9th, 2021. This online video conference brought together healthcare professionals and community partner organizations to increase engagement and build stronger ‘networks of care’ throughout the tri-counties of San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura. As a sponsor of the Bridges to Resilience Conference, CHC ran a virtual booth during the event to promote their wide range of services to promote health and resilience on the Central Coast.

Attended by over 750 community members and healthcare professionals, the conference included talks from experts in the field of trauma and resilience, a keynote on Building Self-healing Communities and stressed the importance of a system or network – all working together to help those in need. It provided a chance to connect parents and community partners from behavioral health, education, early learning, social services, family support, law enforcement, faith communities, government and philanthropy.
