Free Health Fairs In May Across the Central Coast to Celebrate CHC Turning 45!

April 10, 2023

This May, CHC will be celebrating 45 years as a healthcare leader on the Central Coast by hosting several events. As part of the celebration, CHC has scheduled Saturday Health Fairs at select CHC locations across the Central Coast. These no-cost health and resource fairs will provide access to healthcare services, information, and education to residents and families in our communities.

CHC clinic locations in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties will extend their hours to open their doors two Saturdays in May for the events. Everyone is encouraged to attend as these fairs are open to the public. Various health services will be available for the whole family, including:

Blood Pressure screenings
Blood Glucose Screenings
Diabetes Screenings/BMI
COVID-19 bivalent booster Vaccines
Chiropractic Alignment Checks
Vision Checks
Oral Health Checks
Fluoride Varnish Treatments

In addition to healthcare services, attendees can learn to take charge of their health and diet with self-care education materials, recipes and resources from CHC’s team of dedicated and passionate Health Educators. Exercise activities for the whole family will also give participants more control over their well-being.

CHC’s 45th Anniversary Health Fairs will take place 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on these dates at the following CHC clinic locations:

  • June 10th, 2023
      • CHC – New Cuyama (details coming soon)

Please come experience fun for the whole family with the CHC staff as they celebrate 45 years of caring – they will have some fun item giveaways for everyone attending!

CHC’s commitment to improving community health extends beyond opening its doors on weekends for community health events. Dedicated to promoting health equity, improving access and reducing healthcare disparities for all people in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties. Through partnerships with local organizations and community outreach efforts, CHC continues its mission to improve the health and wellness of anyone living on the Central Coast regardless of their ability to pay.
