Day of the Farm Worker

CHC is proud to once again host the annual Day of the Farmworker on Saturday, December 5th at the Veteran’s Memorial Community Center in Santa Maria. This special day for the whole family brings together local support agencies, service providers, and more to celebrate and show how we care for our farm workers who put food on our tables. The event is free. to attend and will feature a health resource fair with services such as:
- Medical Screenings
- COVID-19 Vaccinations*
- Flu Vaccinations**
- Doctors to answer your health questions
- Education Materials
- Legal Help
- Activities for Kids
- Raffle Prizes
The event is completely free and the whole family is encouraged to come out.
Special tanks goes out to all the organizations providing the medical services and screenings: Santa Barbara County Public Health Department, Dignity Health, Santa Barbara County Education Office.
A mask covering your nose and mouth is requires for anyone 3 years or older. Please do not attend if you are feeling sick.
