County of SLO health officials are getting reports of scams involving COVID-19 vaccines & remind residents: if something seems too good to be true, it probably is. Scammers are using telemarketing calls, email, text messages, social media platforms, & door-to-door visits to perpetrate COVID-19 vaccination-related fraud/scams.

Community Health Centers of the Central Coast has been awarded $150,710 for Provider Engagement and Peer-to-Peer Learning as part of the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) initiative. The ACEs Awareness Initiative has provided grant funding to 100 organizations throughout California to design and implement training and education activities for health care providers and other organizations that serve Medi-Cal beneficiaries.
