This year Community Health Centers of the Central Coast is joining the HHS Office of Minority Health (OMH) to highlight the important role each of us can play in our communities to help reduce health disparities and improve the health of all racial and ethnic minorities and American Indian/Alaska Natives. This theme for this year is Give Your Community a Boost!
There has been plenty of talk in the news and on other platforms regarding the recommendation for a fourth dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Sometimes called a second booster, it's easy to see why this has created confusion and speculation over whether or not people should talk to their doctors, seek advice from others or just try to get another dose wherever they can.

While masks are no longer required indoors for people who are fully vaccinated - that does not apply to all settings or business types. Face masks are still required in healthcare facilities, medical & dental offices.
