Community Health Centers of the Central Coast has been awarded $150,710 for Provider Engagement and Peer-to-Peer Learning as part of the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) initiative. The ACEs Awareness Initiative has provided grant funding to 100 organizations throughout California to design and implement training and education activities for health care providers and other organizations that serve Medi-Cal beneficiaries.

Community Health Centers of the Central Coast (CHC) is asking the public for donations of cash, respirators, and disinfectant wipes. CHC has clinics in San Luis Obispo County and northern Santa Barbara County. Operators say they're seeing hundreds of new patients concerned about their possible exposure to the novel coronavirus and seeking testing.
